Survival Impossible: 1 Year On

Description
1 year (and a bit) on from starting in the frozen Omicronian wastes this is what my base become - a sprawling conveyored 'metropolis' for one.

Enjoy exploring the base and the Lawn Chair facility, if you want to play on from this point yourself, make sure to add all the nasty mods back in.

Have fun!

Splitsie to side note for your serie
1) your drill in your mining roid as finish drilling and went throught it so maybe have restart at a lower eleavtion...

2) your lower solar panel and oxygen farm as damage each other due to colision with one a other so if intrested to fix for the series

3) one of your tubine as also being damage and ask for some love :D

i will post this reply on your youtube channel just in case your overlook this one

So... I've been taking a look at the Canary drones, and I've had a thought - you might want to rework their remote controls - having nothing on the hotbar on the backup is obviously bad if you need to use it, as you noticed when you threw one at the roof, but also... it might be better to switch which is your primary remote - I'm fairly sure at least one of the ones you lost in combat was because the front remote took a hit and booted you out. Granted, from the Steve-Cam, it also lost its batteries soon after that, but using the more protected remote as your primary might buy a little more time in combat per drone. Other than the time to set up the hotbar and switch which is primary, I can't see a downside, so...

Those wiley merge blocks.

I'd have thought that in its current state, the Lawn Chair ought to be possible to name and keep named - with how big it is, it ought to always be the dominant grid when anything new merges... unless, of course, you end up going down the Aglomination route again. (Which would be awesome, if even crazier with the extra difficulties the Impossible setting gives for that sort of thing)

When you next get onto blueprinting designs, have you considered going through some of your backups and blueprinting the old version of the crane, for example? It might be interesting to see what people make of driving with the old hitch which gave you grief.

The jetpack nerf isn't active in this save, that's just the bizarre behaviour of the default jetpack on a high gravity world - it's a long explanation for why it's that way, but it's vanilla.

The lawn chair never got named as the merge block stuff always messes with names anyway :/

Extra note cut from my previous comment due to length limits:

I noticed back when you were building the pipeline from the Lawn Chair to the old base below that there was a sparking solar panel on the lower base (and had a lot of fun re-watching the preceding videos to try to figure out what happened to it) Having visited it, I think it was a little too close to the unfinished oxygen farms and collided with one while rotating to find the sun, since it's only that one which is damaged.

Thanks for publishing this - I really appreciate the opportunity it offers to poke around your bases and get a look at them from different angles to the ones from the series.

A couple of small oddities I thought I ought to mention - something seems to be interacting oddly between creative mode and your jetpack nerf, for me at least - if I use spacebar to boost up, I get nowhere, but if I point upwards and boost forwards with W, I can get upwards, thought the inertial dampners don't like it much. Odd, but only in a "that's interesting" way. On a more serious note, I went to the Entity List to go for a look at the Lawn Chair, and it seems to have lost its name - it's there as Static Grid 729, so finding it was a bit of a pain - not sure if this is a publication glitch, or whether it's true in your save as well. Similarly, the Remora is going by "Small Grid 1499", so it might be worth checking that in the main save when you get back to the series.

Hey Splitsie are you thinking a series with the industrial overhaul mod is on the cards? im trying it at the moment, im going to try instead of having one base have multiple bases spread out that support the main base
