The Town - 2 Street

A new set of roads from my project "The Town". They are based on the amazing Country Lane roads by Delta 5-1. I have revorked the roads and added different speed limits, road types and markings to fit in a rural area, village, town or small city.

This asset is a narrow suburban street where pedestrians share the road with cars



The street lights are vanilla. This is because you can then choose between hiding them with loading screen mod, use them as they are or replace them by using Network Skins 2

As a plopper, I think it is better to have full control of signs and decals. There are lots of these in the workshop, and the result will be much better if you place them yourself.

Update 27.01.2021: Because this is a road on ground level, we need to lower the node texture on juntions with transition to other road types. That would work if this was a highway, but I changed the class of this asset to small roads. The transition flag doesn't work beteween different assets, only different road classes, and that made a blue clip on the transition junctions. Because of this, a junction with transition to the same (this) asset (and highways) will have a small dump. You can level the junction with ploppaple asphalt.
