yea NTSC is @ 60 FPS and PAL is @ 50 FPS. This affected the game play as well, back in the day when we didn't have international standards. EU had the Scart cable and the States didn't really have anything like that until s-video and then HDMI.

that's what I was thinking, omg...as I'm from Eastern Europe, here, all the famiclones were modified weirdly to play both NTSC and PAL pirated cartriges, which resulted in games like super mario bros. and other ones being weirdly slowed down like that, but just the sound, gameplay was ok(I think)

thanks, yea I think I used the PAL version for the recording, just a tad bit slower :cupup:
