The Vale Of York - An economy mod for Thrones of Britannia!

Description
I am the author of Better General Skill Points and I'd like to introduce to you my own economy mod for this TOTAL WAR SAGA. I want to give you a reason to play again. The other factions respond incredibly well, and some nations that disappeared before become bigger.

Almost every building bonus or effect has be redone to give the worlds economy a more stimulating boost which makes sense!

I have attached some pictures of changes.

Here's the link for the YouTube video:

There are many more changes:

- All Food buildings now produce more.

- All Major tier buildings now cost more to build and manage.

- Major tier buildings now give more rewarding effects.

- The income has been drastically reworked. (You now must hold on to maximum tier mines to gain the maximum increased benefits. Especially gold.)

- Minor effects have also been reworked giving additional world bonuses.

- Damaged buildings have heavy penalties.

This is the final version. I have had this for 12 months and tested it vigorously. Mod compatibility is almost Universal.

Have Fun with The Vale of York economy mod for Thrones of Britannia!

I did an analysis of this mod at last at Sam's behest. All you did was buff certain buildings by between 5-100%. This means that factions (gold and silver mines) with the specific buffed buildings will easily smash the others. The mod shows little understanding of the fundamental balance problems in the game where once a unit builds enough of any non-buffed buildings, they can steamroll the map. I would not recommend this to anyone.

i play with faction unlockers be cool if there was one that contains custom made units for factions
and maybe a mod like this incorporated into it or something i done mods for attila only though.

i have done half food consumption one for vanilla campaign but also compatible with fall of the eagles mod and radious and likes of dark ages mod to.

food consumption is reduced food produce making buildings income, fertility and produce increased a tad and squalor penalties from buildings decreased.

i had also made it so buildings provide more public order as well but only increased by smaller amount.

and made other submods for mods like medieval 1212 mod and likes of ancient empire mod as well i just released reduced food consumption and squalor penalties

Thank you Sam.Pidgeon! Every playthrough will be different and interesting. AI really fights hard, especially West Seaxe as their budget is increased because they can spend more. Holding buildings like ports, farms, industry and mines as the player boosts your ability to maintain armies, or increase the all important treasury. :)

If at any point any of you have suggestions to release for other total war titles I may consider.

Kind Regards
YBR!

@ Aurelian (Restitutor Orbis) I tested this upon your request. Results are fantastic. My economy mod works with 1066 Conquest mod. Put 1066 Conquest mod before mine in the load order. Thanks for the feedback, and enjoy!

Hi, I think the mod does a great job and is a worthwhile investment. But im just curious if it works with 1066 Conquest mod? that seems to add in its own custom buildings, hence might conflict with this.

@ The Old Saxon: the first screenshot seems to indicate that it makes economy much more lucrative, at least early game, so I would say it makes the economy easier to manage.

I suppose to summarise it is dependent on you. How focused you are on your economy determines how well you perform militarily.
