The Swamps of Gorth - RPG map large scale Flex Table

Description
UPDATE: 16/01/23

I thought I would do a quick refresh and update of some aspects of the map. There are some new effects, slight scenery changes, more detail in some areas, and colour changes.

I'll be uploading some other new content soon.

UPDATE: 13/01/21

So I have forgot I had made this map interchangeable with many other areas I had built and swappable on the fly as my adventurers sometimes go back and forth to areas previously explored.

If a DM so desires, they can zoom out and birds-eye view the map, they will find a large UFO :) It is a memory cube big enough to thwart most of the bugs where the items don't get sucked in to the cube correctly (I am sure there is some coding I could manipulate to fix this but this way is easier).

So, you can use the cube, and any other cubes from any other master-map cubes that you choose to load in to remove the map playing area and place a new one. As long as you have backup up the cube to saved items or saved it in previous versions you can safely delete the cube to help with game performance, as this is a BIG area and saps a lot of CPU/GPU power even if you rig is pretty pimping (like mine).

You can add things to be ignore in the scripting, as I have here. Water splashes and types of rain. These can be separately sucked up or re-added by the small cube in the DM's hidden area.

I do find that I sometimes need to rotate the big cube a bit when placing stuff as some items bounce about on the top...

-----------------------------------

Gorth was once a proud and strong city, ruled by Karnon...until his jealous brother betrayed him and took the mantle of King. The city grew ever darker and the joy and life faded from a once prosperous place, as Karnon's brother conducted foul magics from his tower lair and after the fall of the city, his dungeon lair beneath the ruins.

So, this is an expansion of CaptainCobop's <a href="https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2201983255">Werncastle - a Ruined Fort Map for D&D and RPGs</a>map. Thank you to him for his excellent work! Please go and check out his workshop!

It is quite an intensive map GPU-wise, so feel free to tone it down and modify as you see fit :)

There are some remnants of my adventurers things lying here and there, please excuse them. They are a messy bunch!

This is built upon 'Flex Table', which allows you to transform the table size via the white button on the side of the table. If the button gives an error simply add the table addon to your library and import the button to the table and the new one will work :) I make my maps on large scales and utilise various mods to hide/reveal areas both underneath and above the main map.

Hi Llandshark. You can actually make the table yourself quite easily. The main part of the table is 'Flex Table', which you can find in the workshop and make to your own desired size. then, construct the sides to however you want, then, go to 'modding'>'scripting' and find the item on the list to the left...once it highlights, type in the scripting area:

function onLoad()
self.interactable = false
end

Link all out-laying components to the center. Then use skybox and you can bag it.

Is there a way/place I can get that table and side boards? I tried selecting them but I could not. I really like the minimal edges on it. Thanks!

I have many figurines! I'll try and find which mod it was for those.
