Five-storey car park designed on the so-called split level with ramps without oncoming traffic. There is a stairwell on both sides. The individual levels are open to the sides. This ensures natural brightness during the day.

It is an own architectural design. It is inspired by various parking garages from cost-efficient precast developers. The office and commercial building as well as the multi-storey car park should achieve homogeneity through repetitive color and material choices in their respective individuality.

My motivation was to create a suitable, authentic infrastructure for a train station in a recessed level. The location between several commercial and industrial areas makes commercial building use plausible. A train station makes the creation of shops with the orientation to travel needs (bakery, kiosk, groceries, drugstore) useful. Also located at the end of a motorway, there is demand for parking spaces for commuters at. To save space, the multi-storey car park hovers over the tracks.

Handling

Usually the assets published in the workshop form soil. However, in order to enable a parking garage to hover over a track system or street, one of the things required is a so-called "Nobaseshader". This assumes that the entire asset must be created above the 0 level. Thus, the base plate, which in reality is located below the surface is above the surface. Therefore the asset has to be lowered by actually 0.30 m with the help of the MOD “Move It” in order to bring it into a realistic ground level.

The asset can be suspended over a railway / street or as well on a flat surface (see screenshots).

Das kannst Du allemal mit der Mod "Not so Unique Buildings" umgehen. Ggf auch, wenn Du das Gebäude über "MoveIt" kopierst. Diesbezüglich bin ich mir aber nicht sicher...

The commercial building is around 12 m deep. The parking garage only 30 cm. This leaves only 30 cm that could develop on slopes. I originally had the idea of developing funadaments under the stairwells. In the end, however, that would have limited the possibilities for the community to use. So over time I had rejected this idea.
