Uranium on Asteroids Near Planets and Moons
8 items
Description
Is the process of finding uranium on nearby asteroids getting you down? Not to worry, mate!

It's simple, really. This 2-block build contains a small cargo container topped with an LCD panel that lists the GPS locations for 24 asteroids with uranium near the Moon. If you spawn this blueprint in using Creative Mode, you'll find 2 datapads in the cargo container, the first with a listing of 14 GPS locations and the second with a listing of 10 GPS locations; 24 total. If you build this blueprint from a projector, simply build the LCD panel to get the listing. Then copy each 14-line group of GPS coordinates from the LCD panel into a datapad (one group at a time, or using 2 datapads).

From the active datapad, simply highlight all 14 entries and click on "Create GPS Marker". You'll need to go into your GPS listing and double-click them one at a time to make them active. That's it.

Note: This list only applicable to the vanilla Star System, not spawned-in planets since that will change the location of asteroids that spawn. Furthermore, this list is intended to be reasonably comprehensive, but it's certainly not complete. I'm sure there are additional asteroids with uranium that I didn't find, and certainly more the farther out you travel. In general, I limited my searching to under 50 kilometers from the moon's surface.

Just checked. Everything works perfectly. All locations are within 50 kilometers of the closest moon's surface, and uranium is where it's supposed to be. These GPS coordinates are based on the Star System map; I don't know what will happen if you try to use them with any other game map.
