This has been my Beta Patch Prison. Each time a new update is released I lload this prison and try to work the new content in. This prision has everything!

Northern section is double-walled and is an entirely self-contained Max Sec unit. Technically Max Sec prisoners would never have to leave this area (this is my intention - keep the hard criminals away from the petty ones), but due to pathfinding issues in the pre-release jthis isn't feasible. A yard, because it is an outdoor space, is difficult to properly zone for only one type of prisoner because it interferes with the movement of other prisoners due to the ENITRE outdoor space taking on the zoning of the yard.
Anyway, I hope the devs fix this at some point.

So you've got a self contained max sec unit with armed guards in the north. The Eastern portion is mostly administrative, but also contains visitation and the holding cell. Plenty of Security Cameras (very few unseeable spots in this prison) are in the security room adjacent to the kennel and armory along with the various offices. Plenty of room to expand K9 patrols with available kennels.The flow of goods/people in an out of prison is effecient and secure, personally, this method of 'airlocking' the prison is the most secure I've personally tested. I haven't had any prisoners escape through the gate.....I did have a few escape when I forgot to seal off a wall during a construction project (ooops), but aside from that there haven't been any real attempts to escape.
Speaking of escape attempts, the prisoners are fairly suppressed and docile. I recall only one or two violent outburts, once again, during poorly thought-out construction projects.

Southern section is min sec. My plan is to buy land to the south and create a Min Sec unit so that Med Sec can occupy the center of the map in addition to a planned Med Sec unit to the West.

I've also been toying with the idea of moving all the administrative rooms to the other side of the road with another land purchase. Seems wastefull though, so I'll wait to see if any of the coming updates will add anything that mike make sense to build on the other side of the road.
