(TEF) Argos A Interceptor (modless)

Description
The Argos A-class Interceptor is a small grid single-seat spacefighter-craft designed as multirole defence craft armed to intercept other small grid fighters. The Interceptor is fully vanilla and survival ready.

Author´s Note:
The Argos is basically a more streamlined version of my older Achilles, because I was again unable to update my Achilles (thank you again game, for ruining my original blueprint) I was forced to delete it from the workshop, because it had some serious design flaws. But I was able to fix it and I also played around with the new blocks and the result was the Argos, I hope you like it!

Key Features:
  • Manoeuvrability - A good amount of thrusters and gyroscopes makes the ship very manoeuvrable, able to outmanoeuvre other ships and dodge enemy missiles.
  • Armor Protection – The ship is well armoured for its class and offers good protection against direct missile hits and gatling gun salvos.
  • Armament - The ship has a strong Armament of six bow mounted gatling guns and four sequenced rocket launchers.
  • Survival-ready – easy to build, fully conveyered and without any kind of mod or dlc.

Description:
The Argos or A-22 Interceptor is the next step in the evolution of TEF interceptors. It is based on the old A-18 Atlas and is a further improvement over its direct predecessor the A-20 Achilles. Beside the fact that the Argos is more streamlined than the Achilles, it also features updated avionics, enhanced weaponry and it is much more resilient and durable than both Atlas and Achilles. Because the TEF Navy strategies are primarily defensive, the request for capable Interceptors is always high. The TEF Design Bureau was forced to develop a replacement for the unreliable Achilles in 2239, just two years after it was commissioned. The first new Argos Interceptors were first commissioned in December 2239 and replaced the now outdated Achilles Interceptors. The last Achilles was decommissioned in June 2243.
The Argos shares its single-seat cockpit design with both the Atlas and Achilles but unlike its predecessors it was updated with a new Artificial Horizon Script provided by WMI and a camera module like the one used on the Achilles which greatly improves the precision of its onboard weaponry.
It is armed to the teeth with four sequenced 200mm rocket launchers and six 25mm gatling guns mounted in a very narrow weapon arrangement. This arrangement is not only helpful while aiming it also concentrates the ships firepower on a relatively small area, which allows the Argos to completely obliterate small grid fighters and harass or disable larger ships.
What makes the Argos special is the exceptionally good armour protection for a ship classified as an Interceptor, while also retaining the typical state of the art speed and manoeuvrability, which is typical for this class of vessels.
It can use these abilities to dodge and withstand direct missile hit while outmanoeuvering his opponents in dogfights.
The designers decided to use a mixture of hydrogen and ion thrusters, but the ship was only built to be operated in non-atmospheric environments. It can be operated on moon surfaces with 0.25G conditions. If the pilot wants to hold the ship in air in 1.00G conditions, he can utilize the main large hydrogen thruster to keep the ship in the air, but flying is nearly impossible.
I hope you like this “new” Interceptor if you have constructive criticism write me!

Misc:
The ships programmable blocks are loaded with these scripts:
Whip's Artificial Horizon Redux by Whiplash 141
Whip's Weapon Salvo Script also by Whiplash 141
Automatic LCDs 2 by MMaster
Thank you for your awesome scripts!

Thank You!
Thanks to everyone who likes this ship, I hope you leave a like! If you don’t like it tell me why and I will try to improve it on this and future blueprints.

@Mighty_Assa; Nvidia Ansel (built into Space Engineers, simply press Alt F2 if you have a Nvidia card), with the Tilt Shift Filter.

@Mighty_Assa; I found this filter and I thought why I shouldnt use it to make the screenshots for the Argos. I am happy that you like it!
