Description
An Expansive collection of Ease of life blocks and mechanical parts to help with survival and creative alike.

In this Mod

-Ring Rotors, Hollow rotors that allow the player to build and traverse through there core, perfect for turret baskets, air lock etc.
-Let there be light Room lamp, an extremely effective large scale light source a continuation of Generic's Previous Let there be light mod.
-Reinforced Hinges, small and large grid hinges with extra strength and torque for those heavy duty mechanisms
-Armoured Cameras for peering into hard to dangerous spaces where one might loose their head.
-Large H2 02 Generator, a heavy duty electrolysis machine for producing truly industrial quantities of gas.
-Large Wind Turbine "They have sown the wind, they shall reap the whirlwind" it's what it sounds like... its a wind turbine but big...
- 90 Degree advanced rotor, For small and large grid for all of your right angle needs, like hinges but spin all the way round

Ah, I didn’t see this response—sorry Frosty! I did not/would never make a reupload, all I wound up doing was have my server paste a new line into their local sbc file after downloading your mod. Honestly didn’t have too much of an impact anyway (and having to redo the ‘patch’ every time their files were validated was annoying), so I can’t complain about how things are now. Still loving the mod!

Especially love the armored camera and the ring rotor. If possible I would like to have an inverted variant for the ring rotor, where the stator is the inner ring and the rotor the outer ring.

Attempting to add a small rotor head to the 90 degree advanced rotor crashes the game.

My only gripe with this mod so far is that the rotor heads aren't airtight, but nonetheless it's made making an interplanetary ship with a ring MUCH easier. (Idk if the rotor head thing is possible, just complaining to complain)

I recommend you take a look at "mod adjuster" if you wish to make any changes to the balance of this as i do not permit reuploads

The variety of blocks added here are really helpful for my server!

One thing I’ve noticed, though, is that the large wind turbines seem obscenely powerful, for not a lot of resources. Sure, that means that people can have more normal looking turbines and not rows of hideous wind towers, but the leap from ~370 kW to 6 MW for only ~5x the component price seems a bit much.

Balance-wise, it would make more sense to add 10-20 superconductors and 20 metal grids to the component requirements. This would require a player to have a full refinery first (to process gold), meaning that they can’t just build a large wind turbine a few minutes after building their first normal one. I’m toying with editing CubeBlocks_Energy.sbc myself just so I can have that balance change and get some feedback from my friends.

A couple of issues I found when using this mod.

When starting at 0 deg rotation (first spawned/once welded), the LG rotor will not pan to the right (from turrret/camera perspective). It will pan completely and continuously to the left. No issues. If you pan to the left a few times and then pan to the right, it will then continuously move until it arrives back to its "spawned" orientation. Basically, imagine a screw. You can turn it one way continuously but then when you turn it the other way, it will continue until it stops at its default orientation.

For the LG hinge, is there no small head option? When i click on the small hinge head option in the control panel, it crashes the game. So i'm wondering if there is no small head or if it's a corrupted model?

i think the large turbines are broken , mine are optimal and wind speed 80 and they just produce all the time 337kW

It moves a tiny bit to each side for a bit, and then is completely locked when using the custom turret controller
