This mod adds 7 gunpowder units to the Dwarf roster. These units are named based on units from outdated lore, but converted to be savagely destructive ranged units

The roster:

Iron Thunderers.

Elite Thunderers who are better armored, better in melee, hit harder per volley, but reload slower than standard Thunderers.

Grudgesolvers.

Shotgun infantry that fires incendiary projectiles

The Iron Thunderers and Grudgesolvers receive tech/skill upgrades for both Thunderers and Dwarf Warriors.

Expeditionaries

Dwarf snipers, in a small team that hits from long distance. Expeditionaries receive tech/skill upgrades for Thunderers.



Mountaineers

Mountain-dwelling big-game hunters with a full 360 degree firing range and bonus vs large. Mountaineers receive tech/skill upgrades for Thunderers


Sappers

Siege experts who specialize in deployable weapons. They can deploy land mines (don’t be near them when they go off), anti-infantry caltrops, and one lightly-crewed engine of an organ gun, a Helblaster volley gun, and bolt thrower.
The Sappers themselves receive tech/skill upgrades for Thunderers. The Bolt Thrower upgrades with normal bolt throwers. The Helblaster and Organ guns both upgrade like Organ Guns.

Githammers

An anti-infantry parallel to the Trollhammers. They fire a canister shot that explodes a distance from enemies 20 meters from enemies. They are only effective when kept at the outer half of their effective range so the canister detonation will hit infantry. Githammers receive the same tech/skill upgrades as Trollhammer torpedoes

Crank Gun Engineers

The Dwarf answer to the Ratling Gun. Since the Crank Gun is a very new invention, few of the weapons (and Dwarfs progressive-minded enough to use them) are available, so they come in small squads of 14, but still pack a wallop. Crank Gunners receive the tech/skill upgrades for Irondrakes and Thunderers.

Lovely mod, one minor issue. They work fine, but the Iron thunderers's melee weapon is invisible, so the best I can do rn is picture them using airsabers

Dwarfs are literally unplayable for me without this mod (not even clicked start on a campaign without it ported)!
