Beak Thing AOE removal

How is that possible?
You are describing what happens in the base game when beak things have AOE on their attacks
With this change It should be mechanically impossible to get hit by a beak thing unless you are the target of its attack
Are you sure this isn't any combination of: beak thing switching targets, target melee defence level, taget desterity level and fixed 5% chance to miss a block?

This seems to cause an issue where characters who are still in range of the attacks (but maybe not the exact target of the attack) will refuse to attempt any kind of block and get eviscerated because the attack hits them instead of the person who was actually trying to block the attack.

Neither does this. I still get hit from behind frequently (which is bizarre and always catches me off guard)
That's a hitbox issue, not number of targets issue.

@Snicks, it wouldn't solve one of the main issues: them hitting someone who's attacking them from behind

Would be cooler if it was reduced to like, two, but nice mod regardless

nice. makes them MUCH less scary.

I hate and fear beak things, but I love that they are so hateful and fearsome. They can't be the apex predator like this. :(
