Description
Update: Because the old custom cooling system was broken by the v1.1.3 update, and because they sound better, I have replaced the engine with a modular engine and electric radiator.

This is a complete rework of the Wildcat, including exterior and interior changes, more speed, improved steering, Sport Mode, new brakes and clutch, color options, a huge logic rework, and more. The car was inspired by the 1974-1981 Camaro, one of my favorite classic muscle cars.

To get the car in a different color, click on the "color options" collection above.

Features
  • Top speed: 138 MPH (222 KM/H)
  • Modular RamAir F8 engine
  • 5-Speed automatic T-III transmission
  • Cruise control
  • Launch control for drag racing
  • Full lighting system
  • Seating for 4
  • Folding passenger seat
  • Heater
  • Fire extinguisher and welding torch included in trunk
  • Working glovebox with med kit and flashlight charger
  • Electrical cable anchor in engine bay for recharging battery

Controls / Tips

To start, get into the drivers seat, turn the ignition key, and use the Up / Down arrow buttons to select Sport, Drive, Neutral, Reverse, or Park.
  • Up / Down: Gear
  • Left / Right: Turn signals
  • Button 1: Lighting mode
  • Button 2: Cabin light
  • Button 3: Cruise control toggle (hitting the brakes will also turn it off)
  • Button 5: Launch control (hold, throttle up, then release to launch)

- Sport mode allows the engine to rev higher, giving better performance in exchange for worse fuel efficiency and more heat generated. Drive mode is useful for road trips and causal driving.

- When driving on roads, it's extremely helpful to use cruise control to stay at 50-70 MPH (80-112 KM/H). Just push 3 and the car will try to stay the speed it was going when you pushed the button.

Also, I have created a Trans Am version of this particular car, and if you don't mind I would like to upload it. I would credit you, of course.

You could do a mid engined with a 10 or 12 cylinder, or even a W12 or W16 to save space.

ok

Well, radial engines have normal pistons but they're arranged in a circular shape, while rotary engines have a triangular piece that spins in a sealed space instead of pistons in cylinders. It would be really cool to have those in game, but for now we don't. I am testing a new engine arrangement, but I'm not sure if it'll make more or less power right now.

What’s the difference
LegoGenius16  [author] 26 Mar, 2021 @ 8:44pm
It probably has a rotary, radial engines are what you'd find in old prop planes

the mazda r8 has a radial engine

I mean in theory I could, but that would probably mean making it a radial engine which is a little odd for a car

U should make a car with a bigger engine
