What you're experiencing is the result of compromise. A couple of months back, I noticed that only about 10% of newer players actually confirmed their classes. To fix this, I made the confirmation menu pop up, but if selecting classes instead, I needed to check whether you are finished or not before popping up the confirmation menu again. Unfortunately, SourceMod doesn't appear to have a way to check if a menu panel is closed in all scenarios. So, the compromise I came up with was using player movement to check if the player has finished navigating the menu to select their classes. Although, a little annoying at times, this compromise has resulted in almost all new players confirming their classes. If anyone has a less clunky suggestion, I would love to hear it.
