***** IMPORTANT *****
This addon will be disabled when it is loaded for the first time! To enable it, type "blowout_enabled 1" in your / the server's console.
Note that this command will persist! (see console commands below)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Description:

If you've played the DayZ Namalsk mod and ever happened to encounter an EVR then you may recognise this. Alternatively, if you've played STALKER: Call of Pripyat, you may just aswell be able to guess what this is (although this addon is not based on that game).

This is a script that I designed to be used in ACF fights, Roleplay, movie making or whatever you can think of.
Essentially, this addon adds a blowout event to the game - a threat to both you and your contraptions. When a blowout sequence builds up, you will hear distant rumble and occasional wind gusts. This is your warning that you should find shelter soon. Then, after a few moments, the blowout will hit - both killing exposed NPCs and knocking everyone unconscious in the process!

When the blowout is over, you will no longer be able to spawn new "Expression 2" gates (short: "E2", more info here[wiki.wiremod.com]) until the "damage phase" is over. Only the E2s that were hidden in buildings, underground or in any place that's covered from the sky will still be functional. Better take cover before a blowout fries your vehicle in a tank battle!

(NOTE: For the sake of game difficulty, the script ignores other entities when checking for exposed E2s, meaning that they WILL be disabled if they weren't covered by a solid part of the map - under a bridge, in a warehouse, etc.)

How to use:

For starters, you need to enable the script (console commands listed below). When enabled, a blowout event will be queued. By default it takes 3600 seconds (= 1 hour) for a blowout to trigger. This delay is also the interval between any two blowouts, and can be changed using a console command (again, see the full list below).

Additionally, you can trigger a blowout sequence manually. There are two commands available for that purpose, also listed below.
Note: you cannot trigger a blowout while another one is still active. This includes the "damage" phase, during which E2s are set to be disabled.
To reset a blowout entirely, turn off the script using the same command you used to enable it (see below). This will re-enable all E2s that were disabled, reset all post process effects and unragdoll unconscious players. Then, turn the script on again and you're good to go for another blowout.

Console Commands:

The following console commands allow you to customise the script to suit your needs.
All settings will save across map changes and server restarts (however, not if the server crashes!). Be careful not to leave the addon enabled if you're going back to sandbox, or the blowout sequences may get in your way.

blowout_enabled
Self explanatory - this will enable or disable the blowout script. Can also be used to entirely reset a blowout sequence by turning the script off (and on again, if needed). (default: 0)

blowout_interval
The interval, in seconds, between two blowouts. (default: 3600)

blowout_announcing_duration
The time in seconds it takes for a blowout to start, after it was announced. (default: 300)

blowout_damage_duration
Sets the duration, in seconds, of the damage phase that occurs after a blowout has hit, during which E2s cannot be used. (default: 180)

blowout_trigger_delayed
Triggers a blowout, including the announcing phase. Cannot be used while another blowout is active.

blowout_trigger_instant
Triggers an immediate blowout, without the announcing phase. Cannot be used while another blowout is active.

Nice that this still works, just a few minor quirks with the graphics but that's to be expected for a discontinued mod that held its ground all these years.

That is, if you feel like updating the mod

Could you also make it so the blowout after the announcing phase also has a customizable time before you're hit? Maybe a customizable amount of hits as well?

Для запуска выброса в консоль нужно прописать blowout_enabled 1 , затем blowout_trigger_instant (for russians)
