The Sith are the main negative characters in the Star wars universe, adepts of the dark side of the Force. The Sith - implacable opponents of the Jedi - were once Jedi themselves, until the dark side of the Force captivated them. The dark side is fueled by negative emotions: anger, lust for power, a sense of superiority, hatred, fear. Sensitivity to the Force gives certain advantages, and the Sith use them, based on their own selfishness and thirst for power.

Си́тхи — главные отрицательные персонажи во вселенной «Звёздных войн», адепты тёмной стороны Силы. Ситхи — непримиримые противники джедаев — сами когда-то были джедаями, пока тёмная сторона Силы не увлекла их. Тёмная сторона подпитывается отрицательными эмоциями: гневом, властолюбием, чувством превосходства, ненавистью, страхом. Чувствительность к Силе даёт определённые преимущества, и ситхи используют их, основываясь на собственном эгоизме и жажде власти.
