Welcome to Floripa!

This map is based on the city of Florianópolis, in Brazil south region. It is not in real scale, although I tried to reproduce the topography and some of the main roads as accurately as possible.
The area consists of the Santa Catarina island, mainland part and some surrounding islands. The island is formed by discontinuous mountains in its central part that, while approaching the ocean, form small plains where the city grows. There are also several beautiful beaches, dunes, a large lagoon of salt water, small rivers that flow from the mountains to the large mangroves in their mouths, and all this surrounded by the Atlantic forest.
