Description
add a celestial globe, which may be a wrong, but I'll add a celestial globe. "Orrery" might be a more appropriate name.
It will be unlocked by research.

We also made a version that can be built indoors. In order to avoid problems, we made it simpler than the one for outdoor use, but it has a slightly different look.

We've also added a smaller version that can be placed on a table.




NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center Scientific Visualization Studio. Constellation figures based on those developed for the IAU by Alan MacRobert of Sky and Telescope magazine (Roger Sinnott and Rick Fienberg).

Hi Ikahurula - great mod. I'm making a large overhaul that focuses on the storyline, ancient technology, survival, etc, really building all of these out. Your orrery would make a fantastic addition as a piece of ancient technology discovered. It would be of very limited availability and would be used as a lore piece. What do you think? Note to users: If you go into the FCS and set the interior version's Scale to 0.8, it will fit on the bottom floor of an s-IV outpost :D

@Vaud yes we are on a tidal-locked moon of the big planet you see in the sky, but that just means that the same side is always facing the planet. The moon still orbits the planet! That's why there is day and night :)
