Description
The 2020 Piper L-250 in Workhorse trim is nothing but pure truck - down to the bare essentials. Coming Standard with a 310c.i.d (5.1L) Gasoline Straight Six, This reliable powerplant may not be the most powerful, but it has enough low-end torque to get through almost any job, especially coupled with the Heavy-Duty 4-Speed "Granny-Low" Direct Drive Synchromesh Manual Transmission. As for how that power is delivered to the wheels, it goes through a real tough Solid Rear Axle, sprung by Medium Duty Coil Springs and held in place by no less than 4 Links, triangulated to prevent sideways sway. And up front is a fully independent hefty Twin I-Beam setup, with Medium Duty Torsion Bars and Steel Bushings, and Medium Duty Disc Brakes to stop this real Workhorse and whatever you have in the bed or behind the tow hitch. The whole truck rides on plain jane Steel Wheels with Center Caps, and inside the cab you'll find a Vinyl-Clad 3-Passenger Bench Seat. On the outside, you'll find strong, Energy-Absorbing Steel Bumpers, standard Daytime Running Lights, and badging to tell the world you only have a 6 cylinder and the lowest trim! But it's not like everyone can afford to spend an arm and a leg on a utilitarian machine like this one, especially when a man as work-oriented as yourself will be getting down and dirty transporting hay bales, carrying lumber and drywall, and flat-towing your friend's broken-down Decker! So why don't you get yourself a Piper Truck today? There's one for every purpose
