Mehen is a game of cat and mouse but with lions and hyenas played on a board resembling a large, coiled snake. The Hyena’s goal is to traverse the length of the snake’s body to reach its head, also known as the lion’s den, so that they can kill their lion pride. The lion’s goal is to kill the hyenas before they reach their den. The Hyenas can spread out and attack the den from multiple angles, while the Lions must track down the hyenas in order to protect their pride, but both have to be careful not to be eaten by the snake. Their skills as hunters gives them the ability to know what maneuver will awaken the snake, but even the best hunters pull a red marble and fall right into the snake's trap.
