He is the one that saved us all. We asked his name, he simply turned and said "Donté El cazador de demonios, suena bien para no te parece." He then rode off on his donkey to who knows where. We didn't really understand what he said either and nobody in town knew how to write in spanish so we just wrote "the legend of ♥♥♥♥ you" on the side of his statue.
