Sadly the real life numbers and those in the game does not match up. No point in making the fish breedable if no fry will reach adulthood.

well in regard of survival rate,I had tried to emulate the percentage of success in killifish hatch and fry.In any case by this point I had forgot the specific numbers but it could be modified in the future.

Are the eggs supposed to be nearly impossible to hatch, or is it an oversight to have them only have a 20% daily survival rate? Because as it is now, it is damn near impossible to breed them unless you are really lucky with RNG.
And this is with 100% water quality.

With the current stats, roughly 4 eggs will survive to day two with optimal conditions. Of those, it is very likely that none will survive to the fry stage. And should through some miracle one hatch into actual fry, the chance of it is surviving to adulthood is infitisimally small.
