I like to use the earliest available materials when building. Then people are free to upgrade to higher tier materials.

I guess it's a habit from when we weren't locked behind building knowledge, but could build 15 slot behemoths out of iron alone.

If you only have the Knowledge Base for Trinium, then You do not have the ability to build a 14 Slot Ship... so what is the point?
