the ore spawns in asteroids,
Looks like Blue ice.

"Heavy ice" can only be processed in a
"Deuterium Tritium Irradiator".

"2H H-3 Container" which is made from "Heavy Ice" in the "Deuterium Tritium Irradiator"

Hi stupid question, but what do these things take for fuel?
Tiberius 16 Mar, 2023 @ 6:10am
Yea, I knew not to do this already, lol. I fixed the issue by updating the code for reactors using fuel.

Oh crap - dont do this

"Years" old bug still in the game... power left time does not take into account the fuel mass.

I just tested with 4 gravity gens in-game with a test fuel of 5KG per ingot vs 1KG per ingot and it said 26 minutes for both despite one lasting 5 times longer with a thruster set to max.

The way i worked around this bug in my reactor mod was to run a resource first through the assembler on a ratio, it fixed two bugs at once the other one been the Gas Generators only working with an "Ore" but i want to use an "Ingot" in the reactors.

You could test by changing your ingot in the xml to a mass of 2 and put 1 uranium and 1 of yours in a reactor and place some thrusters on a station and set them to max. see which reactor dies first.
to have a fair balanced drain temporarily set your reactor to the same MW output as the vanilla one.

then it burns at same rate ;)

In game? my fuel mass looks to be the same as uranium
Visentinel 15 Mar, 2023 @ 4:11am
Reactors use fuel based on the mass of the ingot, the more <mass> the ingot has the longer the ingot lasts.

it is probably the "<Ratio>0.001</Ratio>" in the CubeBlocks_Reactor

If I may ask as well. What setting do I need to change to make the reactors use more fuel than they currently do? So far they are barely using any at all, and I'd like to change that on my end.
