Description
Notre-Dame Basilica (French: Basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal) is a basilica in the historic district of Old Montreal, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The church's Gothic Revival architecture is among the most dramatic in the world; its interior is grand and colourful, its ceiling is coloured deep blue and decorated with golden stars, and the rest of the sanctuary is a polychrome of blues, azures, reds, purples, silver, and gold. It is filled with hundreds of intricate wooden carvings and several religious statues. Unusual for a church, the stained glass windows along the walls of the sanctuary do not depict biblical scenes, but rather scenes from the religious history of Montreal. Ingame, it has 2 slots for great works of music and gives a free great person.

I live in Montreal, and it really is something to see. It is one of the main tourist attractions we have, and we're all proud of it.

@rharris4736 civilization spans 6 000 years history, and USA was around for less than 5% of that time, so I'd say there are more than enough american wonders compared to your imput into architecture, science and such.

Nice! I'd love to see the Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul (Washington D.C) made to go with this one. There just aren't enough North American wonders in the game, and you can only download so many skyscraper mods to fix that before it becomes old hat.

PS - You seem to be a capable modder ... I've been using Krajzen's extra Great People mods for even more cultural play. A humble question ... could you make more Wonders that work with BNW's Great Works? Or any Wonders in general ... I love playing peacefully in Civ (some people would say that I'm doing it wrong if that's how I prefer to play the game :D), and part of that peaceful-play enjoyment comes from building Wonders and more Wonders.

Specifically, Wonders that are spread out throughout the ages, which all have Great Works slots and theming bonuses, I'd love it if you had the time, interest, and/or know-how to do more like this Wonder mod.

Apologies if this message seems too forward. Otherwise, LMK if this request is as intriguing as my desire for more modded Wonders is!

Kind of amusing that people aren't noticing that this is the Montreal version, not the France version.

I'm looking for more Wonders, especiallyt the type that add Great Works slots. I'm intrigued. Going to download as soon as I reorganize my enjoyed mods and re-install Civ. Thanks for making this in advance!:SocialPolicy:
