Inventory Expansion Anti-Squish Patch

Description
This is a lightweight patch for Inventory Expansion that improves some of the most seen icons by reducing their "squished" appearance.

Details:
I dislike the squished feeling that the Inventory Expansion icons provide. With Antisquish, I aim to give a more natural look and feel to the squared icons by not simply squishing the whole image into a square, but rather cropping and scaling icons into better square frames.

I've redone primary supply items (herbs, holy water, etc), a few modded trinkets, gems (with compatibility for Hunting Slime's stacking gem icons), gold, provisions, the simple bag icon appearing at curios (named use_inventory.png), and all 4 base heirlooms.

Many of the remaining squished icons either look fine as is to me or sit outside the scope of this mod, so I certainly prioritized the most exposed icons that bothered me in game. I've chosen to exclude estate items, journal pages, quest items, or shards -- because they haven't significantly affected my experience. If you care for me to try some of these, please make a complaint in the pinned discussion thread and I may give it a go, but the changes would likely be rather mild in comparison to the currently included icons unless I looked to alternative icon artwork.

Load Order/Compatibility Notes:
This patch requires Inventory Expansion or supposedly any inventory-altering mod that uses 72x72px icons. Be sure to load this ABOVE Inventory Expansion and for good measure, above any other patches for it, near the top of your load order.

Antisquish overwrites only various images under panels/icons_equip/
& scrolls/use_inventory.png

Special Notes:
Includes icons for all "The Advent of The Ghost" trinkets and rarity boxes, which hadn't yet been included in Inventory Expansion (this does not add the trinkets to your game, just their icons).

(Nearly) all PNGs are quantized with SuperPNG when exported to keep file sizes down.

Oh dang. Thanks for informing me. I'll look into it once I find the time.

The underlying mod for this has been removed from the workshop. However, if you had it downloaded:
The Inventory Expansion Mod can be found at the default location of:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\262060\953207219

If you copy it to the default location of:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DarkestDungeon\mods

then you can get it to work again.

Unfortunately, I did not have it downloaded myself, and so I was hoping you could zip it up and sent it to me if I add you as a friend or somesuch.

Ahh, just as i thought.
I took a picture, cut item out, shrunk frame, made it into separate layer. Then cut item out, resized it to 75%W and 65%H, then just inserted into frame.
I was hoping there was some trick to make it faster, but i guess it is best option at the time.
Thanks for explanation.

Still works for me, rhiever. Be sure that Inventory Expansion is enabled and below this in the mod list.
Dirmagnos, I typed up a full explanation then reloaded the page and lost it. :Sadclot: But, basically, for the images included in this mod (which are baked onto their background/frame), it boils down to keeping clean, reconstructed copies of the background on their own layer then masking out the items from the vanilla image to scale/crop it into place. There's not much room for automating or scripting. For the trinkets, it can be much faster because they utilize transparency that is layered onto the trinket rarity frame as separate files. I'm happy to clarify if you have any questions.

This doesn't seem to be working anymore. I put it at the top of the load order and the icons are still squished.

Impressive. How did you do that? Id like to resize a few images myself, but is there any way to do it relatively simply?

Please do the same for 580100_crimson_court and 735730_color_of_madness, because Inventory Expansion and your mod dont change blood, cure and other items, they should be in separate folders like this "dlc\580100_crimson_court\features\crimson_court\panels\icons_equip\estate\inv_estate+the_blood.png"
