I've noticed a lot of people say she's underpowered, and needs an overall buff. Whether or not that's true, I can't be sure, since in my experience she's fairly balanced, just incredibly annoying to fight against. I would wager that it comes down to her moveset encouraging a specific playstyle that most may not use, as from a friend who plays her, she plays very similarly to how she does in Touhou Luna Nights (which props to the original author for making her so close to the source material).

This isn't so much a nerf or a buff, but a way to make her less annoying to fight against. A lot of her moves had hitboxes that were too large, or make it impossible for the player to really do anything against her as she would stun them for a good while. She's a projectile-heavy character, meaning often you try to dodge one projectile, and get stunned by a worse one you weren't tracking. Stun mechanics in fighting games usually aren't fun to fight, but she had 5 moves that took complete control away from the player, which really wasn't fun to fight.

I will probably continue updating this version of Sakuya solely because another friend of mine is working on making a private tourny of sorts for friends, and has been debating making it public. She's wanting to get a bunch of characters that are fun, but balanced, together for said tourny, and we all collectively agreed that Sakuya was overall not fun to fight despite being fun to play, and as such we decided to rebalance her. I got input from everyone involved, and this is the result of that.

If there are buffs/nerfs that anyone thinks might be necessary, please let me know and I will consider adding them.

Buffs:
- Overall damage output was increased (Chainsaw does 5 damage per hit and all Knives do 1 damage per hit (was 0.5))
- No penalty for dodging out of fstrong
- Can now jump out of fstrong as well
- Fstrong damage buffed to 0.45 (was 0.075)
- Buffed damage of nspecial to 5 (was 2)
- Graze happens a lot more frequently

Nerfs:
- Passive MP regen in 25% slower
- Taunt no longer fully regens MP
- Graze no longer gets faster during time stop to prevent stalling out games (it used to regen MP faster than timestop drained MP)
- Fstrong range was reduced by 50%
- Stun was removed from chainsaw
- Stun was reduced on shock knife
- Knockback reduced on the more spammy attacks like nspecial

I can't apply it "real quick", I'd have to completely redo the whole edit, but I'll try redoing it when I have time and interest in doing so. Sorry for the inconvenience, if the bugfix matters to you so much then use the original Sakuya for now.

Why does it bounce back every time I throw an enemy down like it hits a wall? This only happens in this mod, there is no such problem in the original mod.

cool edit but the character is still pretty weak. it still has the same problems as the original in that they literally can't kill, but at least you can't just infinitely freeze time anymore haha. none of the kill moves really work: chainsaw is weak and extremely hard to land, knives can just be di'd out or even teched and the dstrong just has no kill power. since time stop negates knockback, killing out of it isn't a very good option either.

If you say that, that just means you don't know how to play the character well enough. She's so fast she's able to easily pile up damage pretty quickly, and the fstrong can be hit really easily in stopped time. Stopping time requires energy, but with how quick she is, she can easily do it by grazing, or even just by simply taunting once. On top of that, she has even more tools.
