The Majestica Incident

It was a lovely day in 1899 when the SS Majestica was literally right next to a port in New York. About to enter it, there was a random explosion that caused fire to spread. It damaged 2 thirds of the lifeboats and killed no more than 43 people already, both on the ship and even on the edge of the port. Luckily she was going down a little when there were tugs near and early fireboats near her. They managed to save the ship before she became unsalvageable. It was unknown what caused the explosion but this was the biggest disaster that happened to Matlantic Line. Of all the disasters this was the deadliest peacetime Matlantic disaster, the best thing to happen was saving the ship. This was known to be "The Majestica Incident."
