Description
Medium tonnage Battlecruiser - HMS Repulse. Guided weapons (VLS pack), Torpedoes, Depth charges, Minelayer

OPERABILITY:
- RECOMMENDED to Bring ship to a full stop to fire guided munitions (this is to stop them detonating in the tubes)
- The large cannons are fully conveyored and can be replaced if desired
- LIDAR array is the "Complex" model, and features a movable EOD, along with HUD for targeting

Timer blocks used for VLS, Reload/Fire grouped to R_FORWARD (EOD control)

Other weapons (Torps, Depth charges, Mines) are controlled via timers - the observation bridge has 3x consoles set up with different weapons systems to demonstrate, feel free to reconfigure as required.

SURVIVAL READY - Printing of sub-grids will not carry over, however the ship is fully functional & ready for survival use. PLEASE however, make sure you fill the hydrogen tanks or this will sink like a rock.

Inspired by a couple of my favourite WW2 Battlecruisers, with most of the hull being a rough copy of HMS Hood, Repulse is my second 'proper' ship using the Watermod and has a much more shaped Hull than Ajax, and features more realistic weapons systems.

The torpedoes fired Port/Stbd' are refined version of my first crack at realistic torps, and will only arm/detonate on contact with hostile or neutral ships. the Fwd torp arms automatically and will detonate on contact with ANY ship (to be used for scuttling, among other things) - because the warheads arm via timers the Fwd tube includes an ejector to ensure the munition is clear of the ship.

The depth-charges are set up to reload and fire either from a cockpit using the timers, or locally at the mounts using buttons. they detonate at 50m below the surface but can be tweaked by adjusting the timers.
50m was chosen as the ship has a scattering of sensors on the belly set to 50m (damn keen's max range) used as a primitive SONAR array to ping submarines or divers trying to plant charges on the ship's underside.

While this is still far from perfect, I feel the hull is much "prettier" than my cruiser, and looks more along the lines of how a "proper" ship should be shaped.

The names aren't historical for these ships - This is inspired by the Hull of Hood, I just like the name Repulse for Battlecruisers!
(Noting that a WW2 Battlecruiser wouldn't have VLS missiles either... haha)

um not to be a downer but if i remember historically Repulse only had three main turrets not four. just as an fyi>
