XM8 - Light Tank Replacer

Description
Replaces the vanilla remastered Light Tank with an XM8

Still planning to make the Bradly but the XM8 is a much more logical choice to begin with, it fits closer to the original sprite and is also actually a light tank with a cannon instead of a 25mm bushmaster acting as a cannon.

This vehicle can be used as a replacement for the Bradly in Techno Scorpion: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2249191188

Yes, that is correct. A Bradley is actually a slightly better armored troop carrier with a turret. Maybe you can also take the T-64A.
It has the round turret and often the fuel tanks at the rear. The modification is also able to fight against the M1A1. The T-80 would also be an option, but it has 2 fuel tanks on the rear. You don't go that deep into detail there anyway.
I can't create assets for the game. I can imagine that this is not necessarily easy :Tanya:

Not really, but saying that neither is the Bradley. I suppose the T-55 was the idea behind the vanilla version of it but it doesn't really fit for what NOD is portrayed as as well as what was in the FMVs.

Just wondering, wouldn't a T-55 have fit better? There are also cool highly equipped versions ^^.

You could change the files in the mod folder manually, that would be the easiest way to do it.

I realy want to know how to replace the M2 bradley from the Techno scorpion mod by the XM8, because when i activate both of them, i still have the M2 bradley for my light tank !

Sure can, though this will be more of an optional one over the one I have in mind that's closer to the FMV's.

Are you able to port this over to Red Alert? Some serious modelling going on here!

I've changed up how I do the shadows and as a result don't have to worry about trying to fit them in the frame through the whole rotation cycle, which means I have a little more room to squeeze some more detail out of it so it should get an improvement soonXD

This is seriously cool! I love watching these tanks in action during the Nod campaign. :D
