Metaglass Foundry MkI

This design produces Metaglass at a high rate while occupying the least amount of space possible. The design is budget level with low power consumption. It allows you to set it down and forget about Metaglass issues again.

This is designed to have 6 Kiln's running at full production (with a full titanium belt) with any excess lead or sand coming through to be used by the last two Kilns. Zero waste, 100% use.

The last photo is an example of the design in use. The game has been modded however, but the application is identical.

8 x Kiln's - 36 x 8 = 288 Power

4 x Batteries - 4 x 4k = 12k Power Reserve

The design will actively use around 216 constantly with the additional 72 being used periodically. Averaging out around 250 power use constantly. (Round-about guess)

Stock Design will produce 14 Metaglass per second, and consume the same in Sand & Lead

Overdrive can improve production but without modded conveyor belts, the required sand and lead per second cannot be reached (will need confirmation on this information)


Metaglass can be used for a variety of things, but the main use is throughout the liquid system. I'd only recommend making one of these per map as the need for a large amount of glass is not entirely necessary. However, the two slot conveyor output allows for you to place a Distributor to send metaglass to a Scatter or Cyclone Turret, or even to a launch pad (if playing campaign) as well as your Core.
