I'd love to see a version of this that did not have the icon "pulsing" every few seconds. Personally, I find it very annoying.

If nothing else, wouldn't it be possible to make a version that - on first entering a system with respawning asteroids - only displays the pulsing icon for around 60 seconds or so before making the icon disappear?

Actually, instead of displaying a pulsing icon, I'd much prefer a version that merely sent a chat log message or gave a brief pop-up message whenever the player first enters a system with respawning asteroids.

There is a basically hidden checkbox top-right in the Galaxy screen before entering your savegame. You have to tick it or new mods won't be added

Notification doesnt seem to appear for me. I subscribed here and ticked off the mod in-game under settings -> mods. Is there additional steps?

Id love this feature as a module which you have to add to your ship, maybe add the feature in the mining or some radar module on permanent installation

That does work on the server, thank you so much. Actually, Amarum, those sectors are not so often, but mostly they contain mining stations, so look for those.
