Mitsubishi Delica D:2

Description
[Excerpt from Wikipedia] DELICA D:2 (DELICA D:2) is a tall wagon sold by Mitsubishi Motors.

It is produced by Suzuki and is a sister (OEM) model of Solio (the second generation and later).

The model that Mitsubishi Motors sells under the OEM of "Sorio" from Suzuki. This is the first time for Japan to receive OEM supply from Suzuki.

It continued to sell without change even after Solio's fourth full model change in August 2015, but four months after that, it made its first full model change in December of the same year and moved to the second generation.

In addition, Mitsubishi's tall wagon has been introduced for the first time in about 9 years and 10 months since Toppo BJ Wide, which was a derivative model of the mini car, Toppo BJ that was released in January 1999.

The body size is expanded in all length, width and height compared to Toppo BJ Wide, and the wheel base is also expanded. The interior length of the second-generation model is 800 mm longer than the Toppo BJ Wide (Toppo BJ Wide 1,715 mm, Delica D:2 (2nd generation) 2,515 mm).

The engine is also a 1.2L engine with a total displacement of 148cc more than the Toppo BJ Wide, with a maximum output of 13PS (10kW) and a maximum torque of 1.5kgm (15Nm).

The rear door is a sliding type, as opposed to the hinge type of Toppo BJ Wide. There is no big change from the original OEM, Solio, but it is about the change of emblems, but since there is no gasoline car (hence MB26S does not exist), all cars have appeared as mild hybrid adoption grade. Replaced the engine with the new model K12C and improved fuel efficiency by significantly reducing the vehicle weight. 2WD vehicles achieved "2020 fuel efficiency standard +10%", 4WD vehicles achieved "2020 fuel efficiency standard" respectively. ..

In January 2017, we added a hybrid vehicle that adopted a parallel hybrid system.(The hybrid vehicle in Mitsubishi vehicles is the second generation sedan type DG (Nissan Cima) that was released from July 2012 to November 2016. OEM) will be the second model after). For Mitsubishi vehicles, Mitsubishi will adopt a 5-speed automatic manual transmission (5AMT, equivalent to "auto gear shift" in Solio), which will be adopted next to the 8th generation mini cab van (6th generation Suzuki Every OEM). The JC08 mode fuel efficiency is 32.0km/L, achieving "2020 fuel efficiency standard +20%".

“Delica” is an abbreviation for a car that carries luggage (=Delivery Car). The "2" in "D:2" means that when the company's model is divided by size/displacement in five stages, it is the next largest after mini vehicles. In the case of the Delica D:5, "5" used to mean the 5th generation, but this time it means that it is the largest model in 5 stages.
