Adds more to farming! It's mostly to add more depth to the farming in DST.

Seemingly Harmless Plant Patches!

Pumpkins, asparagus, potatoes, garlic, onion, pomegranate (and technically dragonfruit*) are now to be found in the world and can no longer be grown from the plain seeds.

These patches can be a boon but they might not be quite as nice they seem!

*Dragonfruit does not have a patch, you just cannot grow them from regular seeds and have to find them on the lunar island.

Persephone's Cruse

Beware of eating any pomegranates you find in the caves before cleansing them of any evil curses! Eating the cursed fruit will trap you in the caves for 3 days and make anything near you hostile towards you (this latter part is true even just holding it)!

Try a lunar water source to purify the fruit first. (Moondials at night; lunar hot springs that have been bath bombed).

Magicpowder works on the fruit AND can remove it from players too.

Wortox's souls negate the curse both on the fruit and on any cursed players too but will cost 20 HP.

Revamped Farming The regular farms can be turned off (off by default)

You now can till some of the various turfs to plant seeds. Different crops grow faster on different turfs. Using a pitchfork on a plant's tile will kill it though so no moving turf after you plant something! All crops grow best on fertile soil turf.

The crops also now have quality values (poop means bad and gold star means good). Quality reduces over time, usually. The crops will sometimes spawn files or weeds near them and these will reduce the crop's quality even faster.

You can use a straw hat to tend to the crop plant once a day to reduce the chance of lies (or get rid of them if they are there) and you can fertilise them to try to increase their quality. Good quality crops have a 20% chance of giving a second crop. Wormwood doesn't need a straw hat to tend to crops and will gain sanity from tending them.

Plants left unattended for too long will wilt, even if they fully grown!

You need to use ice on the new crops (quagmire ones) during Summer since I could not make the fling-o-matic protect them.

Good quality crops give +35% of food values (or a reduction in negative ones) and last 35% longer.
Bad quality crops give -30% of food values (or an increase in negative ones) and perish 30% sooner.

Crop quality does not affect cooking recipes (might change that in future)

Mealingstone and Stone Oven

There is now a mealingstone with its own set of products like flour. Mushroom spore pack needs to be used on a stump.

There is also now a stone oven which does take some of the cookpot recipes (anything that would be baked is now to be made in the oven and not a cookpot). It also takes longer to bake things; can't rush a good roast!

Harvest Spirit

The spirit of spring herself! She spawns every Spring on an island off the coast (sometimes of the coast of the lunar island not just the mainland). Give her offerings (she only accepts crops, preferably nice ones) and she might give you a gift every so often or she may destroy some structures near you if she is not kept happy. You can tell if she is happy based on the size of the flame above her head. If it is out, then she is not happy.

Her gifts are the only way to get certain crops (technically their seeds) if you are not playing with caves.

You can also choose to fight her by offering either a curse pomegranate or wheat (rejecting her wheat gift is disrespectful to her!). If you run away or die, she will leave until next Spring. You will get a random gift pouch when she dies and many emerald feathers.

The two new crafts she offers:

-- Cloud caller staff: summon a cloud pet (uses your pet slot sadly) that can be a nice inventory OR can heavy lift for you. You also float around on a cloud when equipped and increase your speed (without triggering spider webs too).

-- Harvest Gem staff: shoots projectiles, gives off light and can summon a small blast spell on some enemies.

Both staffs last 5 days and can be refuelled by emerald feathers or magic powder.
