G.E.I. Dark Horizon

The Dark Horizon is Galactic Expansion Industries long range scout. This is a Early Game CV & Fully capable of long term survey missions.

The Dark Horizon was designed as a long range scout, but doubles as a light cargo hauler/carrier. With a hanger bay, full fabrication facilities and built in repair bay this ship has a large mission profile. The ship design called for the ability to support large fleets if the need arose. Classified as a light cruiser, Fleet roles include Carrier Support, Hit and Run, Salvage/Rescue ops, Supply Transport and SV repair.

This build was my first CV in survival. It has taken weeks of modifications, fine tuning and learning the mechanics of the game to get this build fully functional and up to my standards for releasing on the workshop. It has always had a place in my fleet. It is still in nearly daily use for mining, Salvage and transport runs. I have also found that this ship has plenty of room for more turrets on the top and bottom of the hanger bay area without compromising looks or the spaceframe of the ship.
