Comically Large Spoon (1.4)

NOTE: works with combat extended!

The famous comically large spoon, used by the one and only "King Bach."

This mod adds two variants of the comically large spoon, the rough comically large spoon, and the normal comically large spoon. The rough variant can only be made of wood and stones (jade included). The normal variant can only be crafted from metals. You may craft the normal spoon at the fueled smithy or the electric smithy and the rough one at the crafting spot.

The rough spoon can be wielded by the tribal factions, and the normal spoon has a small chance to be wielded by some pirates and some outlanders.

I tried to balance it as well as possible, but please let me know if you feel it is too weak or too powerful.

4/20/2022: We're back boys! I just updated the mod to work with 1.3 and made a couple of changes / additions. I made a combat extended patch so now you can stab things to your hearts content. I quadrupled the spoons texture size from 128x128 to 1024x1024 to get rid of the jaggy edges. Last but not least, added a shiny new preview image to the mod and the workshop page, I hope you enjoy :)

12/12/2023: Yet again, I find myself coming back to update this amazing (stupid) mod. This new update adds support for 1.4 as well as improving Combat Extended compatibility. I have tweaked some settings to hopefully have a more balanced weapon for both the rough and normal spoons. I disabled all sharp damage in lieu of taking a blunt-damage approach because I find whacking raiders with the end of a massive spoon quite comical. Why did I decide to balance a spoon you may ask? Who knows honestly, but hopefully it will now be more viable for people that like to have a little bit of fun in their playthroughs!
