welcome to this mod page.

Description
I got the idea for this mod after my Holy Knightly Orders mods - during the creation of the HKO mods I got several unit ideas that fit the medieval theme but not the crusader theme at all - so I decided to create this mod.

The goal of this mod is to add knights or other men at arms from different European kingdoms of the medieval times.
Just to name some: England, Castillia/Spain, Holy Roman Empire, France... .

If the faction you play with has access to the units you should be able to build a new building chain in nearly all settlements in both, Vortex campaign and Mortal Empires campaign.
It might be possible that this building appear for other human factions to but than these factions does not have access to the recruitment since the units are locked to specific factions or faction groups.

For this project I try to be as historic as I can in terms of heraldry.
Maybe some of you will say that the combination of the different patterns/symbols does not make sense timescale wise but please have in mind that I don't want to unify all these things.

Faction available units:
-> French and English units = Brettonian factions
-> Holy Roman Empire and Byzantine units = Empire and imperial factions
-> Spanish/Castillian and Portugese units = Estalia
-> Milan and Venice units = Tilea

You still need a faction unlocker for the non-playable factions!

All units will be available for the Empire and Empire only in custom battles.
-> for me it's easier to test all units in one battle instead of fighting a battle for every faction
-> units will use pre-defined colour schemes so no worries about faction colours etc.

You are welcome to post any unit ideas here or balanacing tipps, compatibility issues or any other things here


Current issues
- no known game-breaking issues

If you experience a problem, issue or other things like that please levae a comment in the "Compatibility" discussion.

Please before you request an update (because of changed game version/new patches etc.) make sure that my mod is really not working anymore or causing a crash.
The vanilla game launcher marks a mod as outdated as soon as the game version is changed - a changed game version might be not campatible with a mod anymore but most times it's nothing but a outdated mark.

At this point I don't know wich mods I will port and wich not.
First there are prioritized mods on the list and to be honest this mod here and some others are not even on the list...

We will see what the future and Immortal Empires bring

At the moment there are no new mods but I'm converting/porting some of my stuff over to Warhammer 3 - not releasing but preparing for when the time come.

Also working on a new WH3 projekt: "The Spanish Experience" which will overhaul Estalia a bit.
