Description
Fast and agile scout submarine with sleek design and limited arsenal. Despite its very small size it can transport larger cargo by utilising its ballast as a storage room. Has a full fabrication setup as well as artifact transportation and deconstruction prepared rooms. Armed with 2 coilguns, 2 discharge coils and a depth charge.

Characteristics:
  • Dimensions: 28x9m
  • Recommended crew size: 3 - 5
  • Recommended experience: Intermediate
  • Velocity: 25
  • Descent velocity: 18
  • Game version: v0.15.21.0

Main features:
  • full fabrication setup
  • 2 coilguns, 2 discharge coils and a depth charge
  • limited supplies (mostly autofill)
  • bottom airlock that can be flooded for artifact transportation
  • bottom airlock that can be disabled to flood the whole way to the deconstructor
  • extremely small power grid (4 junction boxes)
  • nuclear reactor controller
  • backup battery array that can be controlled manually or automatically by logical circuit
  • smart system that automatically closes doors when water is detected
  • ballast designed for cargo transport
  • ballast that can be disabled and drained to deal with unwanted alien flora

Reactor Room
3 switches are used to control the batteries.
  • "Automatic" enables automatic battery control. It will automatically adjust recharge rates and enable batteries when the main reactor fails to supply submarine with power.
  • "Power In" enables batteries recharging from the power grid. (Does nothing with automatic control enabled)
  • "Power Out" enables batteries discharging into the power grid. (Does nothing with automatic control enabled)
Device above the reactor is a Reactor Controller that works fully autonomously and you can leave it be, but if you want to make the most of it refer to the guide on the workshop page

Airlock controls
Submarine's main airlock comes with a few extra features:
  1. The "Flood Airlock" button can enable special mode where the airlock is always filled to 50% with water - very helpful when dealing with alien artifacts
  2. If you want to dump some items out of the airlock, just place them under the platform and use "Toggle Outside Hatch" button to flush them out.
  3. If you want to dump some bodies (human or alien), then simply opening outside hatch won't work because the water rushing in will push them above the platform. But you can use the special "Flush Airlock" button that will first fill the airlock with water and then open the outside hatch so the bodies can sink without being pushed up.

Good stuff and I like that the wires are not locked.
Though I don't like the fact that some components are locked and hidden. Makes an Engineer's job twice as expensive and time consuming to rewire it cause all the components need to made from scratch again.

I haven't played this game for a fairly long time, it seems like there were some pretty significant changes to the navigation terminal in the latest update. It should be working fine now.

Right, the latest update broke anything that uses linked containers with "display side by side" enabled, so I've disabled it until the bug gets fixed.

needs update to fix the overlapping text when switching between fabricator/deconstructor and the storage next to it. my favorite ship to use so far :)

Thank you.

Those displays are made from invisible fire extinguisher brackets that are holding items with added "extinguisher" tag. The frame and the rest is mostly made from different scaled fin parts. There's not really a way to make a tutorial for that, the items are very straightforward and the cabinet itself is just a lot of experimenting. I reccomend checking out the cabinets on the Vengeance since I was mainly inspired by those.
