Saught's Generic Assets/Models/Objects/Props

Description
Some more random generic stuff for everyone to use. You guys probably know the drill by now.

This time, it's around 560 models. As usual, I've manually set colliders for some objects so that they would stand up properly. Everything's been adapted for TTS myself.

If there are any errors, let me know.

Inside you can find:
  • Books. There's always so many books.
  • Typical Barrels, Baskets, Boxes, Crates, and Pots.
  • Stalagmites. If you flip them over you can pretend they're Stalactites instead.
  • Ruin stuff.
  • Modular Buildings.
  • Rocks... Trees...
  • Lots of skeletons.
  • A bunch of other stuff.

Anyway, I'm sure you guys can find uses for this stuff in various types games.

Feel free to use this stuff for other mods. You don't need to credit me or link anything, but it'd be nice.

If you'd like to support me you can do so through PayPal[www.paypal.com]

As always, check out Demorid's miniature table full of mz4250's models (and others!):

You do great work is there any chance you could do a modern city set for super hero type games?

Oh man, there are a lot of missing assets.

@Ginger_Ghost Possibly a hiccup with steam cloud? I've had times where steam cloud stuff wouldn't load for a few hours. Seems to be working fine for me right now. Otherwise I'm not sure, though the skull pile walls are kind of laggy in general if they aren't locked because of the mesh collider (I think?).

Currently trying to build with this pack but the skill pile wall isnt wanting to load in as well as some others. I'm not sure if I'm just too new at tts or there is an issue but some things i can just drag and drop to the map and others pull up a custom assetbundle menu. am I missing something besides subscribing?

@thirteenlilsykos Never too late to leave me feedback; I read every comment even if I don't reply to everything. I appreciate your line of thinking though.

I personally prefer the large "dump" of assets myself because it's sort of the "legacy" standard thing for TTS workshop mods for models - though mostly in way smaller quantity (like Vess, JustJohn, ScreamInVain). I think I'll just try to place things on the table a little less haphazardly in the future.

I understand I am late to the "poll" here but I like it as it. I like being able to go in, look around and then save it how I choose (in a bag or individual items). But, mainly, I feel like whatever is easier on the actual creator of the assets is the way they should go about doing things. I cannot imagine the amount of time it takes to get these things downloaded, uploaded, overloaded, whatever. You, as the creator, do whatever is easiest for you and the rest of us that enjoys what you do, will figure it out. I also enjoy the large amount of assets in one go because its like Xmas and I'm getting ALL da prezzies!

*Cheers to @Phantastic for mentioning the 'Expand' function. Didn't know you could do that and it saves soooo much time. xD

I think it's fine the way it is, and I've never had any issue with FPS drop. I like to go in myself and take what I want, put it in bags and then spawn them in my map making tables. I'm pretty sure @thirteenlilsykos does it the same way.

Really appreciate everyone's feedback. Just to clarify something on my end, I haven't ever had FPS drop, stuttering or lag issues.

@Chro On the example builds, that's my line of thinking. I wanted to give people a good idea of how to make use of the assets.

@Sixstring & @Ðrim I think that's doable on a per-person thing by saving bags or moving everything into your own save. Personally the way I do this is how Phantastic mentions, with the "Expand" function, but I can see how people might want categories (sectioned bags).

@Phantastic Yeah these are exactly my same sentiments.

There's really no right way to approach that.

If you bag them all, then we can't use the 'Expand' function on the mod to find an asset whilst on another table.

If they're in a dump like they are now, it can take a long time to load and tanks FPS.

If they're in smaller more intuitively categorised mods... then that's a lot of mods you would need to maintain / update.

Mayhaps the best way to approach this is to give people the means to sort out their own solution.
