Description
Stave Casting v 0.4

SKSE is required. Get it at http://skse.silverlock.org/

Feature
Adds some staves and wands you can cast whatever spell you want with. Including ones from other mods. The idea behind them is that you can use the staves charges instead of magicka.

How to get it
Craft them at the forge.

Change spell
Equip a spell in the hand where you have the staff equipped.

Spells that do not work
  • Concentration spells
  • Bound weapon spells
  • Master cast spells (disabled for balance reasons)
The scripts will disallow casting of these kinds of spells but can only detect vanilla spells. If you have a mod which adds those kinds if spells you will be able to cast them, but the result might be bugged.

Known bugs
  • It can not detect un-vanilla concentration, 2H nor bound spells.

Fixed bugs
  • Unidentified CTD (no error message) when casting Firebolt at wizards over at Fellglow. No error message.
  • Unidentified CTD (no error message) when equipiing staff in battle with said mages
  • Lacks sounds (valid cast, invalid cast) and eventuall casting art (needed for immersion).
  • Bound spell does not work
  • Concentration spells does not work
  • Debug text is still there
  • It does not check if you still have the spell when you cast it.
  • No sound for failed cast nor message

would be better if amplified damage since vanilla enchantments make zero magicka cost.

Sounds like either a problem with your computer or that the spell mods work in some strange ways.

No it doesn't delay vanilla spells and only delays modded ones in certain situations, usually when there is a lot of pathing being done, Sorry I don't think it's a problem with your mod, more likely my pc!

Is there a slight delay with the vanilla spells also?
