Colossal Field

Colossal Field is an upscaled version of OniDisco’s Baseball Stadium. The model has been adjusted to fit a space of at least 25x25 and can be placed directly on your transportation network. Additionally, the infield has been raised slightly so that grass doesn’t poke through. B4NK35 uploaded a similar version, Turner Field, but I think he lacked access to the original model and he was not able to reset the model’s origin point. I used BloodyPenguin’s Modtools and a trial copy of 3ds Max to reset the model. Please see the above reference shots for an example of roadside placement.

I'm still learning how to use Blender so I may eventually upload an original baseball stadium but this is a beautiful model and just needed some minor adjustments.

Sorry about that rory438. I really wish they had better support for Match Day. Even with Campus I've noted that outside of a campus area the team colors keep changing... this would probably be more stable if we could add actual Match Day buildings. Thank you for your interest and let me know if you need anything else. I'm going to move that asset back to a Campus asset since it is apparently required.

Still nothing. Despite the dependencies being changed on the workshop page, the asset itself still seems to know it needs Campus.

Hi rory438, I removed the Campus DLC requirement and changed it to Match Day. Please let me know if this now works.

Unfortunately it is locked behind the Campus DLC. You can't activate the stadium without it.

I'm not sure, I believe so as from what I've seen the stadiums all use game day functionality if outside of a campus. Let me know if it doesn't work.

B4NK35 also did a good update of your model but the road transport hook up was a little difficult.

Hi OniDisco! You deserve the credit for this one! This is a beautiful model, you really captured the feel of Camden Yards or Turner Field. Glad you liked it! :steamhappy:
