Thank you!
-Tu-144, 3 Jun 73. On this day one Tu-144 crashed at the Paris Air Show. You can build it this early if you want to "commemorate tha fallen". The monument is based on an actual tu-144 (CCCP-77112). It was built in 01
-Tu-160, 2 Feb 01. This date marks the first massive decommisioning of the type in Ukraine, leaving some availbale for display.
-Buran, 30 Jun 93. On this date the Buran program was officialy terminated and in an alternate future it could have been saved instead of being destroyed in 2002.
The dates you pourposed are all great since they mark the start of each program development but if you want them to be accuratte but want them early on I suggest using the maiden flight of each aircraft: De 31, 68 for tu-144, Dec 18, 81 for tu-160 and 15 Nov 88 for Buran. To be as realistic and/or accurate I would use the dates I explained more in depth
- Buran since 1988
- TU-144 since 1969
- TU-160 since 1984
