Description
After 2.5 years of development, welcome to the prequel of the adventure map An Antagonist Story: Anticitizen One. Set at and during the chapter “Nova Prospekt”, you and your team of Metropolice have been sent to the coastal prison find and shell out rebel bases, and follow through with any... unforeseen consequences.

The raid on Black Mesa East was a success, although the Freeman has not been found. As a Union Prospector, as called by citizens, you have been drafted to Nova Prospekt to root out resistance hideouts in City 17.

Please note that this map was designed for Half Life 2 and Episode 1, but is playable in Garry’s Mod. For a better experience, I recommend
-Disabling addons (or at least gameplay addons)
-Disabling god mode
-Disabling give weapons and suit on spawn
-Setting max ammo to about 300
-If you want, you can play on a gamemode that simulates Half Life 2

The physics are slightly different, but won’t hinder you. Since HUD hints don’t work in Gmod, just remember your flashlight, you can crouch jump, and you can press your use key to climb cables (by default “E”).

Gmod doesn’t take advantage of Half Life’s autosave system, however I have implemented a feature that will teleport you to the last checkpoint, as well as give you starting weapons. Be aware that this teleport system does not reset the game to when the checkpoint was activated, therefore time will have passed as usual. If you want a fresh restart on the map, simply restart it. If you do happen to have any issues with it, you can noclip back to the same spot.

Also, this map is not designed for multiplayer. If you want to give it a whirl, go ahead, but I will not be troubleshooting multiplayer issues.

If you do have any non-multiplayer related issues, please leave a comment and I will do my best to troubleshoot. If you have feedback, please let me know as well, as this is what helps me level up my environment design.

[After exiting starting elevator] “You’re late. Follow us to the command room”
[In office room] “Anticitizen hold identified at grid space 117 by 294; preparing headcrab shell.”
[Office room, launch sequence] “Shell launch in 3, 2, 1. Shell launch.”
[After launch incident] “You. Investigate the prison sector and submit a damage report.”
[Entering prison screening room] “As part of the Xen 24 protocol, these doors are closed to contain infections. You will provide assistance in exterminating any threats. Now unjam that door.”
[On train finale] “Company: Nova Prospekt is being evacuated. We have been assigned to City 17 to aid in oppression efforts. Engaging train controls.”

I finished working with revoicing... could I decompile your map? Or you may give me .vmf file, i want to translate onscreen text to russian language.

Custom dialogue has now been added to the description! Hopefully this will aid those who struggle to understand the lines, and also help for translation.

At the moment I am planning a third map, however I've had a number of other projects come up that have made me put the map on pause again.

ooh thanks! i want to translate your map on my language (russian) and to revoice combine lines i just to at least understand what they say. Waiting for the next maps (if it will ever happen, it's been 4 years), i like your works

P0shboy, try disabling any other addons you have enabled - it hasn't been tested without any non-mentioned mods, so they may interfere with the map.

why every time i try to load this map it crashes and closes gmod bruh

There were some locations where the darkness was more atmospheric (the two storage rooms & the small outside jump in the train area) but for the rest of the map overall i had to rely on a flashlight. On second thought since you did say in the description it was designed for half life episode 1 or 2 its probably just a problem with Gmod. Im not a map maker so i wouldn't know, I'm about to find the time to play Anticitizen one and see how well that one goes.
