[TFA] RSC 1917

For the first time on TFA, I am proud to present for my Gmod workshop debut, the RSC model of 1917
This little antique was developed in the French Third Republic towards the end of the First World War, in order to equip the best of french troops with semi-auto firepower in order to clear out the German trenched.

The RSC fired the, at the time, standard french 8mm Lebel rifle cartridge, which is interesting for having a double taper and also having an absurdly huge rim, (which was a byproduct of the 8mm Lebel cartridge being developed by necking down the black powder 11mm Gras cartidge) which made the cartridge extremely difficult to be used in modern actions such as belt fed machine guns and box magazine fed firearms, this led the RSC to using an enbloc clip, similar to the berthier's clip, that was inserted through the bottom of the action, rather than through the top, like most rifles that used enbloc clips, such as the Mannlicher M95, Gewehr 88, Berthier, Carcano, M1 Garand, etc.
