[WoTC] Muton Hunter

Description
This mod adds 2 new Muton enemies. These Mutons use a long range sniper rifle which will strip all armor from targets.

WHAT IS IN THIS MOD:

  • 2 New Muton enemies Enemies.

INFO:

Muton Hunter

These Mutons show up a bit later than the normal Muton, they utilize a sniper rifle and prefer to stay at long range, their snipers will completely strip all armor from any target they hit. Additionally, they have implacable.

Muton Prowler

Muton Prowlers are the higher "tier" variant of Muton Hunters, showing up even later in the force levels, their weapons are identical to hunters but deal a tiny bit more damage. They also have shadowstep in addition to implacable.

KNOWN ISSUES:

None at the moment.

COMPATIBILITY:

Usually i say "it should be compatible with everything", but then it turns out it isn't, so if you find any compatibility issues let me know.

FAQ:

Are there any tech rewards for killing these dudes?

Nope. I don't think i'll make any for them in the future.

Do i need to start a new campaign for these dudes?

Just in case i'm going to say "yes", can never be too careful.

yo bro. how do we reduced the effects of the sniper. its like a rocket launcher was shooting instead of some stealth sci fi weapon

Looks cool. But what's with the effects? It's more like a heavy weapon than a sniper.

Unrealistic effects are ok, but the volume of the effects is far too loud.

Here is my adjustment for them to remain Sniper Variant but still higher tier then your common muton -
Doubled health, bumped up their Aim to 90 and 100 accordingly, adjusted to pierce 2 armour and shred 1, should keep them a threat and high profile target to get rid off.

Same as everyone in the comment section. Love the enemies except for the noise and over the top particles when firing. Unsubing for now until it gets fixed.

Please lower the volume of their weapons, these enemies are so cool but the sounds make my ears bleed

As much as I find these enemies interesting, and potentially fun to deal with, I'm unfortunately going to have to be counted among the people who just can't handle the monstrous effects tied to their guns. Way too extreme, in both volume *and* particle effects.

You made pirate mutons. They even have an energy musket. This is... so cool. I actually think it fits pretty neatly into the game, despite them not looking as manufactured as the other aliens. Really cool. I will be using them in my mod project
