Moriya Kingdom and Moriya Shrine lead by Suwako Moriya. DLC "Gathering Storm" is needed.

Leader Trait: Creating earthiness

+1 Faith for each Lake tile and plots adjacent to lake or river. Grants a free Great Prophet when you have your first Holy Site District. Have 4 unique giant units: Native Gods. Native Gods will be automatically obtained the next round after having the corresponding Civics.

Native Gods list:

Lord Long-Arm: +1 Range to all ranged land units and ranged siege units within 2 tiles. Retire effect: immediately complete the construction of the wonder. All Builders get +1 build charge.

Lord Long-Leg: Units within 2 tiles ignore Movement penalties for Hills and Rivers. Retire effect: Increase Trade Route capacity by 1 and grants a Trader unit in the nearest city. All units +1 Movement if starting turn in friendly territory.

Mishaguji-sama: Military Units do not suffer combat penalties when damaged. +5 Combat Strength and +1 Movement to military units within 2 tiles (Can be superimposed with the great general effect). Retire effect: Instantly builds BARRACKS and ARMORY in this district. All military units gain a promotion level.

Moreyashin: Pillaging costs 1 Movement. -5 Combat Strength to enemy units within 3 tiles. Retire effect: Enemy units within 3 tiles lose 99 HP. Farm improvements gain +1 Food and Faith.

Moriya Kingdom

Civilization Trait: Jade of the Horrid River

+1 Gold and +1 Culture on all Floodplain tiles and +2 Gold and +2 Culture on all plots with resource "Jade". Encampment district buildings can be bought with Faith. +5 Combat Strength when a non-religious unit fights a civilization that follows another Religion. Begin the game with the Bronze Working technology Eureka and the Wheel technology.


Unique Unit:

Moriya's Iron Ring: Unlocked by Iron Working technology and replaces the Heavy Chariot. The cost and combat strength are high, but not good at fighting in forests and rainforests. Can be bought by Faith. +1 Movement when starting in open terrain. -17 Combat Strength in forests and rainforests. Bonus Faith equal to 100% of the strength of each combat unit killed. Can cause full damage to the city wall. If this unit captures a city or is adjacent to a city when it's captured, the city will automatically convert to the Conquistador player's majority Religion.


Unique Building:

Suwa Iron Field: A building unique to Moriya Kingdom, replaces Barracks. May not be built in an Encampment district that already has a Stable. Strategic Resource Stockpiles increased +10 (on Standard Speed). Awards Iron Working technology when completed. and awards 2 Iron per turn. +25% combat experience and +1 [ICON_Movement] Movement for all melee, ranged land units, and heavy cavalry class units trained in this city.


Unique Improvement:

Holy Trees: Unlocks the Builder ability to construct Holy Trees, unique to Moriya Kingdom. Only can be built on a tile with an Appeal of Charming or better. +1 Culture and grant +2 Appeal to adjacent tiles. Awards additional Faith which is equal to the Appeal of the tile. Provides Tourism from Faith once Flight is unlocked. Holy site awards +2 Faith From each adjacent Holy Trees. One per city. Tiles with Holy Trees cannot be swapped.

Moriya Shrine

Civilization Trait: Industrial Revolution of the Youkai Mountain

Citizens may work Mountain tiles. Mountain tiles provide +2 Food and +2 Production. Industrial Zone district buildings can be bought with Faith. Shrines and Temples provide +2 Production.


Unique Unit:

Priestess: Can choose from any possible promotion instead of receiving a random promotion. +25 Health after defeating an enemy unit in theological combat.


Unique District:

Branch Shrine: A district unique to Moriya Shrine for religious activity. Replaces the Holy Site district and cheaper to build. Grant additional +1 Faith bonus from each adjacent mountain. +2 Science bonus if adjacent to a river. Also unlocks the Onbashira Festival project.


Unique Project:

Onbashira Festival: District-based project which provides Faith, Culture and +200% Religious Pressure every turn. Awards a large amount of Gold and all Priestess gain a promotion level once finished.


Unique Improvement:

Aerial Tramway: Unlocks the Builder ability to construct Aerial Tramway once Steam Power is unlocked. Can only be built on an adjacent Mountain tile. Acts as a movement portal on a mountain range, allowing units to move into it and exit from another portal at the cost of 2 Movement. +2 Gold, +2 Faith. Provides Tourism from Faith once Flight is unlocked.
