Airbus H175

Description
The Airbus Helicopters H175 (also known as EC175) is a 7-ton class medium utility helicopter produced by Airbus Helicopters (formerly Eurocopter Group).

Features:
  • Aultitude hold and autopilot
  • Automatic heating system
  • Attachable stretcher and harness (winch is controllable from the red harness)
  • Radar
  • Radio
  • Transponder
  • 2 winches (electric connector and small connector)
  • Fuel efficient
  • Speed 95 knt (176 km/h 110 mph)
  • Range ("cruise" mode): 147 km

Startup procedure:
  • BATT
  • Instrument lighting system
  • FUEL VALVE
  • FUEL PUMP
  • Rotor brake
  • Increase RPM (set to "cruise")

NOTE
In order to fly, the RPM needs to be set to "cruise". I advise to always keep the engine running in "Idle" when landed in order to maintain the electricity generator on (in "idle" mode the helicopter has enough fuel for 4 hours).

The horizontal situation indicator of the main cockpit monitor needs this environmental mod to work properly: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2139727228

Thank you very much! There is actually no difference between the two flight controls. This one has winches on one side which make it not symmetrical. I have added some more weights on the opposite side trying to balance this asymmetry but it did not solve it completely unfortunately. It might be because of aerodynamic forces.

Great series of helo's. super functional ingame withgreat characteristics. Question, I'm trying to figure out which flight control parameter to adjust to stop this version from rolling right during forward flight when controls are neutral. The newest H175M does not exhibit this behavior and was curious what the difference in the flight model is between this one and the H175M as the Military weapons DLC model flys perfect and this one needs a hair of polish. Thanks

@Mo'gas - I gave it a try and still unflyable. Maybe if you have time you can check it out. It would be amazing if the blades would fold back. I'm basically building my ship around this heli.. :)

You also need to invert pitch and roll since rotating the rotor changes the way the positive is facing

@Mo'gas - I did eventually figure that out, however, it make the aircraft unflyable.. :( not sure what I did wrong. The control would not work, even after I connect then in the logic.

Thanks! in front of the base of the propeller there is the connection to the power, you need to bring the power pipes to that connection (which is now in the back).

I'm loving this H175. I really want to use it to land on Ships, problem is, the main rotor is installed backwards, so they fold forward. I've tried removing the rotor and installing another one, however, after connecting the Collective, Pitch and Roll... it does not work... The main rotor does not seems to spin? does anyone know what I am doing wrong. I'm new to Stormworks, so I may be missing something obvious.

Honestly one of the best helicopters available. Phenomenal endurance, good features, love the inclusion of flight time for fuel monitoring. Sophisticated without being over-complicated, handles well during multiplayer ops and is a beauty to behold.

In my opinion, the best helicopter on the workshop. Amazing work, looks just like the real thing!
