Chong-al (Bullet)

Description
The Chong-al, (Korean for bullet) is a transport class sub with moderate manuevering capabilities and adequate protection.

Two coilguns and a railgun provide offesive and defensive options when manuevered well. An additional discharge coil has been added to the upper-fore side, which draws power from the railgun's capacitor, leading to a trade-off between the two.

The spacious cargo bay houses storage for general items as well as munitions, with additional facilities for crafting.

A battery array provides charge for all navigation systems, as well as the utilities with the flip of a switch.

Custom installations throughout the sub provide stunning visuals that any Europan Captain would envy!

Now updated for use in the New Frontiers update!

Found this through the wreck variant, I wonder how many more of these I can find like this?

Sorry for the wait, but I finally managed to fix that pump issue in the lower aft. Everything should be in working order now, and the sub should also be updated to the latest release.

In the meantime until I find a fix, that area can be drained by repeatedly opening and closing the ballast doors when ascending. I apologize for any trouble this might cause and the shotty work around. Thankfully the area is small enough so that it won't affect the subs maneuvering greatly

After a little testing I see what you mean, but so far I haven't found a way to fix this. I will investigate further and try to find a solution. How confusing..everything Is wired correctly..

that's really odd, the pump says that it's turned on and it's pulling power from a junction, and it's set to water out, but its not draining at all

Thanks for letting me know, Menace. It was a minor issue with a relay component that wasn't set to "on", but it should be fixed now. If there's anything else let me know, otherwise, enjoy!

it seems like the lower aft side, the room to the left of the left side ballast has an issue with not draining, and I think the issue stems from there being an airlock leading to the ballast or the room not having a pump

Awesome, glad to hear you fixed it! Off to the seas with the Chong-al once more

I just put out an update to fix the bots pooling in the ballast. As far as I could tell it was a minor waypoint error. Thanks for letting me know!

Weird singleplayer issue I noticed, bots would often pool in the ballast under command room and eventually have a diving suit and then soon suffocate. This was pretty regular for my save when using it
