A total revamp of the offical ArcVR Half Life 2 weapons, this pack serves as an upgrade from the original.
It improves handposes, restores original models and fixes lost functionalities.

Do not use the official HL2 VR guns with this pack! It will result in heavy conflicts. All internal weapon names are the exact same, to ensure compatibility with j2b2's VR weapon giver. Uninstall the original if you wish to use this one.

The most recent version is designed around the ArcVR fixed addon, linked in the required items section. Subscribe to it and unsubscribe from the original ArcVR base addon, NOT the waves (second, third, fourth). If it doesn't work, contact the ArcVR fixed addon's creator.

The entire pack was designed around Black Mesa's Gordon Freeman playermodel. Different playermodels can have different levels of fingers clipping through the gun, so using this playermodel will ensure the highest quality experience:

Other playermodels do work reasonably well, however. The VR hands and most of the default Gmod playermodels will have little issues with clipping.

Needless to say, VRMod is required.

List of changes, per weapon:

Crowbar
-Revamped handpose and higher damage, so that manhacks can be smashed in one hit. The flashlight now also comes out of the front of the crowbar, rather than the side.

Pistol
-Slight model improvements such as additional internals, a new bullet model and moderately buffed damage.

.357 Revolver
-Redone from scratch with a speedloader system instead of individually inserting each round. Includes a fix for the cylinder instantly snapping back into place upon opening.

SMG
-MMod Model replaced with the original HL2 SMG, courtesy of the SMOD team. Additionally, internals have been modeled for further detail.

AR2
-Model entirely replaced with the original AR2 model, also courtesy of the SMOD team. mechanics have been changed from an open bolt system to a more automatic system, including a bolt release. Tap the small trigger-shaped switch on the left side of the gun to chamber a plug. (Seen in the video)

Shotgun
-Added some basic internals and a fancy shell model, credit to JersonGaming's Real RNG ammo:

The shotgun features some *very* basic altfire implementation that serves more as an experiment than a finished feature as of now. The secondary trigger fires a single shot, so you'll have to press both primary and secondary fire for a double shot. The secondary shot takes no ammo and does not require a pump, but has a 5 second cooldown. It's still WIP.

Crossbow
-Changed systems so that people experiencing the bug where the crossbow would do no damage can now use it properly. The hitbox of the string has been enlarged so that it can be pulled back faster and more easily. The scope has been replaced with a very precise red dot sight.

Grenade
-Returned in the latest update! The ArcVR fixed addon allowed it to return, so now I've given it a bit of polish aswell.
Fingerposes and the grenade's orientation have been improved for a general improvement in quality of use.
Useful tip: Lightly throw a grenade infront of your feet and then use the gravity gun to launch it. This makes precise grenade throws (such as the sniper windows in Half Life 2) much easier.

RPG
-Slightly changed model to allow for reloading rockets through the front, as in original Half Life 2. Also drastically lowered the recoil so it can be fired underneath roofs more easily.

Bonus: Pulse LMG
-Based on the emplacement guns seen various times throughout Half Life 2, this handheld version comes with a 300 round magazine to offer unprecedented suppressive firepower.

Known issues:
-The revolver can be reloaded regardless of the cylinder being locked in place or not

Some elements could be subject to change via updates, such as effects and details.

Anyone else have an issue where they can't duel grip the pistol or magnum. Can't for the life of my figure out where. Tried every ArcVR combination
