Role
DIRECT DEFENCE
These ships are designed to hold the line against other CQB orientated ships. They will often have heavy armour and multiple turrets, as well as an ECM system and self-repair.


Description
The Anaconda Heavy Destroyer is a well armoured warship with self repair welders covering most of it's turrets, thrusters and ECM system. It is heavily armed with the same two turrets we've had for six damn years. The Anaconda has good manueverability and is relatively fast, although it will be beaten in acceleration by gravity drives that haven't been balanced against thrusters at all in six damn years.

The Anaconda is a single grid build that does not feature rotor turrets, Player Made Weapons or anything fun because projectors still do not project subgrids after six damn years and I can not bring myself to explain this to another new player.

Inside the ship there are Cryopods for 8 crewmembers. These are completely pointless as the game cannot handle more than a few players in MP without sh*tting itself. Players can improve the crew quarters by purchasing DLC, because poor KSWH can not afford to make a proper game as they have only sold four million copies of SE, had a successful Xbox launch, funded an AI research program and bought a large orange building.

Good luck trying to keep track of ammo and cargo as I haven't installed MMaster's excellent Auto-LCD script and there is still no good in-game inventory management after six damn years.

I think the conveyor system works, but there is no simple in-game way to check this because the UI is from the nineties. I can't be bothered to do a proper job. Kinda like when Keen introduced an upgrade system complete with demonstration upgrade modules and then did f*ck all else with the idea...

Or the time Keen introduced a few planets into the game and then put them in random places instead of expanding toward a replica of the solar system...

Or the time Keen made a cannon turret mod and then never bothered to add it or any other weapons to the game...

Or the time Keen gave us an economy system that can be easily exploited for millions of space credits...

Or the time Keen added workshop ships to the base game with game breaking amounts of resources and no quality control...

Or the time Keen added substandard NPCs with AI and pathfinding that would have been considered bad twenty years ago, and then did f*ck all to improve or expand them...

Or the many times Keen has pushed an update with minimal quality control...

Or the time...

F*ck it, the Anaconda Heavy Destroyer, a turret brick, because that's basically the only thing guaranteed to work in this glorified screenshot generator/half-arsed technical demonstration. What a waste.

Instructions
Use the CQB Toggle on the toolbar of the main control station to activate welders and projector.

I try to make all my ships suitable for use in survival, if you use my ships and find a bug/problem, let me know. I'm not going to do anything about it mind you. I'm done here.

Fully agree with you, I play SE not because it's great, but because I haven't found anything better yet, I will probably switch to Starship EVO eventually too, once it has a few more features

I actually really like this ship. Going to look it over in creative, but honestly it's the first decent Destroyer/Cruiser Capital Ship that can actually manage in atmosphere. So many other Destroyers are space only and I'd like to be able to transition.

I'm so sad I only just started playing a month ago, and only just discovered your Hyperion series ships today. I'm setting out to build your Direwolf in survival, and use it as my base. Thank you for making such intricate and beautiful ships. I wish you well in your future ventures! ^-^
